Expert Coating Company, INC.

Expert Coating Company, INC. is a family grown corporation built in 1951 on the west side of Grand Rapids, Michigan. During this time there were many plating companies in Michigan supplying the automotive industry. With the invention of paints, plastics, and the push for clean air and waterways, smaller plating companies could not compete with larger platers. The larger plating corporations have expanded to domestic and commercial products and still service the auto industry. Expert Coating Company, INC. continues to proudly serve the rest of the plating industry.

Henry Klimek bought the company in 1971 and he and his three sons-Erik, Walter and Menno-have been running the business ever since. Their sister, Patty, also joined the company. The brothers and Patty plan to continue the family business with a third generation of dedicated service.

Expert Coating Company, INC. moved to its current location on the north side of Grand Rapids, MI in 1974.

At Expert Coating Company, INC. we strive for outstanding customer service. We provide a range of plating services including: rack design, fabrication and repair services to platers, painters and powder coaters for a variety of end-use markets.
